Challenge
Many parents struggle with establishing consistent and healthy sleep routines for their infants and toddlers, leading to sleep deprivation for both children and caregivers.
How might we design a baby sleep app that intuitively reassures sleep-deprived parents in establishing a healthy sleep routine for their baby?.
My Role
Being on the design team of one the projects required me to test my full potential as a Designer— Facilitator — Researcher
I worked with 2 developers, the Founding team, and the 1 UX Researcher under mentorship of my ex-Design manager to build the product from 0-1.

Process
Mission Briefing: Everything starts with bringing all the stakeholders involved in one room and align on the agenda and the boundaries for each project. Some product-discovery led projects might be more open while some iterative ones would require me to already do some groundwork. This is a shared responsibility with PM.
Initial Research: One of my strongest suit to gauge what are our competitors doing and deep diving in getting inspiration and understanding the market. In this step I often make competitor analysis reports, suggest problems statement proposals and narrow down the scope of the project.
Wire framing & Prototyping: We designed low-fidelity wireframes often also did co-creative workshops with other stakeholders, async shared my napkin-sketches.
Usability Testing: Usually we have Testing days in our team when everyone heavily tests the app and in past we also conducted some self guided test with groups from usertesting.com and
Product Report: We often share a feature health report, post release with other team members and relook into how it performed by understanding data insights. It also acts as a safe space to show design-led decisions and share the reasoning with other stakeholders
